Preparing for Baby #2: A Trio of Bibs

Project Description

What was your inspiration? Although I didn't use their patterns, I got the ideas for the crochet appliques from Craftsy member oneandtwoco, and the knitted bib shape from Valerie's Gallery, both of whose patterns are available in Craftsy patterns. I didn't use actual patterns for the bibs. They were more or less design-as-you-go.

What you will need

  • Lightweight (#3 & #2) cotton yarn. Embroidery floss for the appliques.

Q&A with K Lee 2Strings

Oleo asked:
Have you used this kind of bib before? Does it absorb well?
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Soft 100% cotton yarn is very absorbent after it's been washed several times. It makes great bibs and super dishcloths, too.
