What are you most proud of? The fact that I kept at it. I may have had to undo rows, but that is the beauty of crochet. Some projects I would give up on because I didn't understand the instructions, or it wouldn't look like the picture of the finished piece. But this piece came together so well, looked like the pattern was supposed to look and that kept me going. When completed I had a lot of compliments on the shawl, so I made a couple more to give to friends and this one to sell. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have a pretty good knowledge of crochet lingo as I personally find some of the patterns confusing, or have a "go to" person to decipher. I found this essential as a newby crocheter. Also if I can do it, so can you, and I NEVER thought I'd ever master the art of crochet. If something doesn't look right take it out right away, ask for help if you just don't get it. I also found help in staff of good yarn shops. I can't tell you how many things I have ripped out and kept going.
