iPhone Cozy with Side Flap

What are you most proud of? Instead of chaining to the width of the phone I chained 21 (the height) and just kept going until I had just under double the width. Then, to close, I DC'd through the next as usual but also caught the back post of my first row of chain stitches and finished my stitches that way. This created a little flap that helps me grip the cozy when inserting and removing my phone. Since I have a non-slip carbon finer cover on my phone at all times. Then I just stitched up the bottom with the long tail I'd left when I started my first row. Also, this was the first time I ever attempted a double crochet. I am a beginner. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Loosen up. I'm an A-type personality with a stuff handshake. I am a perfectionist and impatient. All of the above make for a very tight project. I just keep repeating to myself "smooth as water". Well maybe that had something to do with the colour of yarn. Lol.
