What was your inspiration? Brumby Horse Squares from Crochetroo. I bought the pattern to make an afghan for my horse obsessed daughter. I also have a horse obsessed aunt so this turned out to be a great Christmas present for her. I made three pairs of horse squares (a head and a rear end) and arranged them so that the head is on the opposite side if the cube of the matching rear end. The horses are always coming or going. I used Gourmet Crochet's simulated braid join to construct the cube. http://gourmetcrochet.blogspot.com/2010/01/simulated-braid-join.html
