Granny mitts, in turquoise and brown

Project Description

What was your source for this crocheting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Granny mitts, fingerless gloves Link to website or photo www.craftsy.com/pattern/crocheting/Accessory/Granny-mitts-fingerless-gloves-/7189 What are you most proud of? I love how the granny squares pop, but without being "too much". That's why I left the palms of the mitts plain. Also, because of the color variations of noro yarns, each mitt will be slightly different, which to me makes them more special. That's the beauty of handmade ! What advice would you give someone starting this project? The yarn I chose for those is "silk garden" by noro, which is way softer on the skin the well-known (and cheaper?) kureyon. It's really worth the price difference, esp. for such a small project. :-)

What you will need

  • 2 colors of Noro "silk garden yarn"
  • and 4 buttons. Plus my own "granny mitts" pattern (available in my pattern store here on Craftsy: http://www.craftsy.com/user/pattern/store/25610
