What was your source for this crocheting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Flower hairclips Link to website or photo http://klara-kleingeld.blogspot.com/2011/03/blumchen-furs-haar-diy.html What are you most proud of? I really love the look of these cuties... and they are so easy to make! And there is no need to always make green leaves: I made a hairclip for a customer, who wanted it for her little daughter's christening, and I used white for the flower and a light beige for the leaves and added a glass bead in a light caramel tone: Pretty! Just give it a try! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just try it! They are so quick and easy to make! And I think they are also perfect for beginners, and you can make some for yourself, your children and/or your best friend in an afternoon. Cotton yarn is not expensive and is available in many bright colours - and you can also use up your scrap yarn. Experiment with different yarns also! Maybe some glittering yarn for the next party, mohair for a fluffy autumn flower or silk for a very elegant look. Just play around! And: This pattern is available for free on my blog, you can find it in german and english.
