Project Description

What are you most proud of? That it actually came out like I envisioned! I have only done one other "object" blanket like this - tore a lot out in the process! What advice would you give someone starting this project? start with simple crochet stitches/blankets, really get your technique down before tackling a freeform like this. Be patient, don't be afraid to rip out stitches, the earlier the better!

Q&A with deedree

tkulling asked:
This is incredible! It's too bad you didn't write down the pattern as you went...it would be a BIG hit! Fantastic job!
deedree answered:
I know - I wouldn't even really know how to write it down though, as I would have had to keep track of everything I did? It's freeform though, so there's really no "wrong" way . . . the ear and leaves were done separately and stitched on. The trees were crocheted sideways, with the zigzags stitched on. Thank you for the compliment - it was fun to do!
