What was your source for this crocheting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Diamond in the Rough Reversible Lapghan Link to website or photo www.crochetbykathy.com/Afghans1.html What are you most proud of? I am so pleased with the way the double border turned out so that the blue border is on the mostly blue side and the brown border is on the mostly brown side. This is a great little afghan for some extra warmth on a cold day! What advice would you give someone starting this project? This is not as complicated as it looks! The reversible design was achieved by alternating rows of brown and light blue, using a combination of sc and long hdc which are worked into the previous row. The long hdc are worked with one color on odd rows and the contrasting color on even rows creating the reversible effect. The ends of the rows are woven so a border can be added - be sure to weave in the ends of each row as you are working to save time later. A design chart is included with the pattern. The pattern repeat and multiples are also provided to easily change the size of the lapghan. The finished size is 40" wide x 43" long. This pattern is available for $4.00 and is written in U.S. terms.
