Q&A with bonitapatterns

Hip Kitty asked:
This really is Too Cool! I love this stitch and I think that putting into wire form was genius! I just started experimenting with wire and find it best for me in 28 guage but Have a long way to go before I have that kind of control. Super job
bonitapatterns answered:
Hip Kitty. Crocheting with wire can be indeed a major challenge. First it is nothing like the nice feeling we get in our fingers when working with yarn. It's tough, and it actually can hurt a bit. Then, if you make a mistake and want to frog it... ay ay ay! It is really tricky because wire has "memory" and it retains the shape of the stitch you jus un-stitched. For the gold necklace I used 28 guage, but for the purple cooper I used 26 guage, a bit thicker and even harder to crochet with.
