Broomstick Stitch Cowl

What are you most proud of? The first yarn I tried was too thin and hard to handle. I bought a slightly thicker yarn and this one worked much better. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Practice this stitch before trying to make something. You need to master the stitch and figure out how it will look so you can determine how many clusters to make across and how long to go. NOTE: Most of the images I found online make this stitch one row after the other - but I added two rows of single crochet as I think it stands out better and does not look quite so busy. You'll have to play with it and see what you like.

You Can Make This

Marie Withrow answered:
Thank you! While this was a gift, I liked the color so much I do plan to make myself one after the holidays.
