Q&A with Racquel Morris

rbynndolphin asked:
that is awesome!! how did you dye it like that?!?!
Racquel Morris answered:
First I crocheted the monster and before attaching parts I dyed him with a procion dye all over green. Then after attached and stuffed I used this fabulous dye I just found last month (and LOVE!!) called SEI Tumble Dye. The best part about this dye is there is NO pretreatment needed. For more control you stray it on dry for more watercolor-like spread your material must be damp. You can use it on any fiber too, so far I have used it on cotton, silk and bamboo and each had great results. It does take a little practice to get the spray consistent but for more control you just need to be close to what you are dying. Let me know if you have any question and thanks for the compliment ;)
Domics Pinnwand asked:
Love the dots - did you use fabric colours?
Racquel Morris answered:
No, just a dye that you spray on. Sorry I didn't see your question earlier :)
