Project Description

What was your source for this crocheting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo vinetage apron Link to website or photo www.freepatterns.com/search.html?criteria=FC00577 What are you most proud of? Right before the charity event, I was interviewed by the newspaper. We gave them pictures of the apron to be put in the article. My interview was published, but the pictures were not. One thing I'm not so proud of is: between the Daisies and the Daffodil, on the Zinnia's I put a Bumblebee. I made the wings, but I forgot to sew them on before I turned in the apron. :( What advice would you give someone starting this project? Do some research and get guidelines on how to sew flowers on a crocheted apron. I stayed up all night finishing up the flowers and sewing them on the apron for the photo shoot the next morning. Thankfully, my sloppy sewing job didn't show up. But after the photo shoot, I took them all off and re-sewed them on neatly.

Q&A with Connie Bromley

crochetgramma asked:
This is beautiful. Where can I get the pattern and instructons for the flowers? Thanks for sharing.
Connie Bromley answered:
If you Google "free crochet pattern flowers" there are several sites listed. That's how I got instructions for some of the flowers. Others were in an old crochet magazine from 1940's that I've had for several years.
