I had learned basic crochet stitches in high school, made a simple afghan for myself, and never did anything else with it until a few years ago when I was wanting to give a little something to some friends for Christmas. I made a cute doggie sweater for their pooch, then ended up making a matching scarf and hat set as well as another scarf for them. Quite literally, I was hooked, and haven't stopped since!
