Willard the Whale is the second in the "Abstract Ocean" ebook series. Willard is a little smaller than your normal sized blue whale but very friendly to all of the ocean creatures. He has sleepy eyes and his tummy actually looks like a sweater at times. Well that deep ocean water can be very cold ya know?! Willard is an average experienced pattern only because of his sweater/tummy. But if you keep track with stitch markers and keep close count you can't go wrong. This pattern only uses ch, sc and increase/decrease and BL (back loop only) stitching. As one reader mentioned, he would be perfect for the middle of an ocean themed nursery mobile!!! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY ch, slip stitch, increase/decrease, back loop only, crochet in the round SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 9" long, 6" wide SUGGESTED YARN 225 yards of Worsted weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Red Heart Super Saver COLORWAY Cleft Blue & Blue Suede

  • 2.5mm ("O" steel) hook

My crocheted amigurumi patterns of adorable stuffed critters are fashioned in vibrant abstract jungle colors. Look over the newborns in the critter nursery! The "Gumball Dragon" series is what's hot now. See if you can find the dragon in the candy color that your family will cherish!! Each "critter" is handmade using nothing but time, imagination and the desire to see if "I can" create it. The TBC "unraveled" look is somewhere on it's person, whether it be as horns, eyelashes, a mane, a tail, or maybe a beard of white.
