Pattern Details

This exquisite zigzag shell and lace blanket is perfect for a new baby. The pattern looks complicated but is actually just a series of 3 panels of zigzag shells attached with a lace design and then a simple border to complement. This is perfect for anyone wanting to make a traditional style blanket but without the frills. The blanket is worked in soft 4ply baby wool and is a great size to use as a wrap or shawl or a pram cover. This would make a wonderful gift for a newborn or perfect as part of a christening outfit. The finished blanket measures 90cm by 90cm. You will need approximately 300g of baby soft 4ply wool, a 2 and 2.5mm crochet hook to make the blanket. Crochet Skill Level - Confident beginner/intermediate PLEASE NOTE: The pattern is in UK crochet terms including a US conversion chart, key, material section and HanJan offers and discount codes.
