Cupid & Heart Pouch is the perfect Valentine's Day gift for any childespecially with it's adorable, heart-shapes pouch This doll is even sized to fit a 1.5 inch diameter rattle insert in the head! When stuffed with polyester fiberfill, it is very light for small hands. This piece is worked in 11 pieces: head & body, 2 arms, 2 legs, 4 parts for the wings, and 2 parts for the heart pouch. This is crocheted in a continuous spiral. Do not join rounds. A stitch marker, such as a piece of contrasting yarn placed at either the beginning or the end of the round can help keep track of round in the spiral. The round stitch count (number of stitches in the round) is given in brackets at the end of most rounds.. Stuff as you go (polyester filling, cotton, yarn scraps, etc.). Finish the piece by sewing together the parts. --- WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW --- 1. This pattern is written in clear North American terms. 2. I have been crocheting since my babysitter sat her down one afternoon when I was 7 years old. More than 22 years later, I still loves to pick up a hook and yarn. all items made are her own original patterns. I have two degrees (B.Sc. and M.Sc) in Biology. My university career taught me to be observant (the critical eye) and I use everyday observations, math, and my imagination when creating new designs.
