A little about me… I first learnt to crochet and knit when I was pregnant with my daughter, I wanted something to keep my hands busy whilst I was on maternity leave and wanted to try something that I had never done before and I came across crocheting and knitting on YouTube and fell in love straight away! I have always loved crafty things since I was a child so trying something new like this I knew would come quite naturally to me with practice. In November 2013 I opened my first Etsy store called Freya Esme (named after my daughter) creating and writing crochet patterns for a small fee and I have been doing that ever since and completely loved it, my store grew to over 600 patterns and over 2900 sales and a slight name change to Freya Esme Collection but as time went on I wanted to seek out a new venture still doing crochet and knitting though… and here it is! I wanted to create a blog where I could share with you my crochet patterns, crochet tips and tricks that I have learned along my woolly journey and crochet stitches that you may have never seen or tried before and I may even add some knitting ones in there too :) – Since I learnt to crochet/knit I have crocheted/knitted basically every day so you could call me a yarn addict. I would like to inspire other people to get creative and make things with their hands and hopefully pass that down to the next generation and I also hope my blog brightens up your day when you come to visit and you learn something new! My Loves… ♥ Rainy Days ♥ Spring ♥ Autumn ♥ Crochet Hooks Thank you to all my loyal followers and a big welcome to new ones!! Clare x
