The perfect hat for a girl or a guy! The Aspen Cap is a ribbed newsboy hat, and works up very quickly using a #6 super bulky yarn and 9mm hook! Sizes: Toddler through Adult Large The pattern includes detailed instructions to show you how to make one (or more) of your own. It uses mostly simple stitches, and one unique stitch with photos. As a lover of newsboy hats, I just had to design one of my own! This hat can also be made into a beanie, if you prefer. A flower or button can also be added for a one of a kind look. My name is Heather. I knit and crochet. I have 2 sons and 1 daughter. I taught myself to knit when I was pregnant with my first son, and made him a blanket. I didn't get to knit much after having him and my 2nd son. Whenever I would leave my knitting for a second, they would rip it all out! So I gave up!!! After my daughter was born, I taught myself to crochet so that I could make her cute girly hats to cover her very bald head! She is almost 2. I am still crocheting, but I've also picked up my needles again too! I'm not planning on putting down my hook or needles again anytime soon!!!
