Pattern Details

Crochet socks are tricky and often don't look as good as knitted ones. I've designed a pair of crochet socks that look good and are a perfect fit. They are made in sock weight yarn with small crochet hooks and make use of different types of US dc (US sc) stitches. The design includes a heel flap and turned heel and you can make the socks in one colour, or add a contrasting heel, toe and cuff. They are called super sonic socks because I was making them when we had a rare event here in the UK - a massic sonic boom heard all over Yorkshire due to an RAF rescue of a passenger plane at Newcastle airport. I dropped the sock it was so loud!!!
