I made this reading character bookmark pattern for Raggedy Andy lovers everywhere. He is holding a heart that Ann gave him. This is a fun and easy bookmark to make His heart can hang outside the book to remind any reader that there is more story to go. His three-dimensional head with cap hangs outside the book. It uses small amounts of crochet thread and any colors can be used so it is a great project to use up small amounts of crochet thread (15 yards being the most that is needed). You will need a Boye Steel Crochet hook size 1 (2.25mm) or Aluminum Crochet hook size B. This is a larger size hook than usually used with thread crochet and makes working with thread crochet easier for those who are not comfortable with thread. You will also need a Steel Crochet hook size 10 (1.0mm) for crochet buttons on pants, BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY The crochet stitches include, sc, hdc, dc, tr, sl st and working in front and back loops. The pattern includes description of abbreviations and complete instructions. GAUGE 8 hdc = 1 inch (2.5cm), 5 hdc rows = 1 inch (2.5cm) SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 3 inches (7.5cm) wide by 6 1/2 inches (16.5cm) long

Supplies Needed
