PATTERN DETAILS

The Stella Hat is a lovely "star stitch" beanie that is perfect for everyday use, or to be used as a photography prop. This hat isn't as difficult to crochet as it looks. The star stitch is a fun alternative to the basic stitches we usually use. There are photo illustrations provided in the pattern to help you follow along, and bonus suggestions to help you make your Stella Hat unique. You may download your pattern once payment is complete. Danyel Pink Designs was formerly known as CrazySocks Designs... same great stuff, new name. Actually, old name... but it's MY name now. :) My name is Danyel. I am a former middle school math teacher, and now a stay-at-home mom to three beautiful children. I am a proud military wife. I am a yarn addict. I'm originally from the suburbs of Chicago, and now I create patterns & crochet hats here in my home near Seattle. I began crocheting in 2007 after a 15-year hiatus. My grandmother tried to teach me when I was little, but it wasn't until my mother-in-law sent me a how-to book and a crochet hook that I finally taught myself. At first, crocheting was something I did to keep my hands busy to keep from going crazy while I was pregnant. Now it's my passion. I truly love every stitch. The colors, the fibers, the textures, and even the SMELL of yarn are delightful! I taught myself to knit about 2 years ago, and am slowly adding more knitting patterns to my collection.
