PATTERN DETAILS

Shell Horizons Scarf is a lovely, reversible lace scarf or stole to match my Shell Horizons Hat - don't you just love matching sets? The scarf is an easy 4 row repeat, and works wonderfully for solids, tweeds, self-striping or even stash bust and use your scraps! There are 3 sizes available: traditional scarf width at 8", a smaller stole/wrap at 13" or the larger 18" full sized wrap. It's written for Knit Picks Shine Sport, a lovely cotton yarn, but you can easily substitute just about any yarn, and as is the case with most scarves, gauge is not very critical, so use what yarn you have and love! Pattern uses single, half double, double, shell and V stitches, and is rated advanced beginner. Many thanks to my testers, sianbird, Vaughnde, ritha, StarrFam6, ushagopakumar, batty4yarn, eelops, and PrincessPa! If you have any questions or comments or just want to join like-minded souls, please join my Ravelry group at http://www.ravelry.com/groups/anastacia-knits-designs. Thanks! Anastacia Knits Designs
My name is Anastacia, and I am the scrap yarn/one skein queen. I buy my yarn mainly at yard sales/thrift stores, so I got used to making do with what I could find. So most of my patterns are designed to use up the odd skeins or leftovers in your life, and are geared towards beginner crocheters or those who just want a fast, easy, but still pretty item. I'm a 30 something adult living in MA. I’m married, have a wonderful cat named Wedgie, & I work full time. I also teach knitting & crocheting at my local Michael's & squeeze in designing as many hours as I can a week. I do love to hear from everyone, but please remember that I am busy, just like you, & will reply as soon as I can. All of my patterns use USA terms & abbreviations. I try to layout my patterns as simply as possible to save money for people printing at home. My patterns are as short as possible, usually with only one photo on the first page, which you can easily skip printing to save ink. .
