PATTERN DETAILS

This pattern has a beautiful texture and shell stitches are always a feminine favorite! The scalloped edges along the top give it that soft, lace-like finish. You can get two of these from one roll of nylon cord, so make one for you and a friend! Large enough to use as a make-up bag, or even as an evening clutch for those occasions when you want to travel light. One of my favorite all time patterns! I have made myself numerous bags in this stitch. Fun Crochet Designs
I'm a girly-girl in the extreme. I love pretty colors, soft textures, and anything that sparkles. So my idea of a good crochet project is a fun, feminine, flirty piece that feeds the fashionista in me! I design and crochet things I want to wear or use in my life, and I hope you'll love them too! I started crocheting in 1979 when an extremely patient, saint-of-a-woman taught me and ten or so other 8-year-old girls to crochet for our Bible School craft project. Somehow, that teacher retained her sanity and I retained a love for yarn. I took to the hook and have been crocheting ever since, making everything from doilies, to baby clothes, sweaters and footies, hats and scarves. After 20 years, I abandoned patterns and started experimenting with my own designs. And that's how I ended up here. :-) Find more of my crochet projects and patterns at http://www.funcrochetdesigns.com
