PATTERN DETAILS

I designed this project with my Craftsy class students in mind! Resa is a one-skein triangular shawlette designed to showcase high-contrast variegated yarns. The pattern's two-row repeat makes it very easy to memorize. The simple stitching is appropriate for beginners ready to experience the wonder of crocheting shawls, and for more experienced crocheters who enjoy a relaxing, rhythmic project. The colourway used in this sample was a limited-edition one that's no longer in production, but any high-contrast (or low-contrast, for that matter) yarn will look great. The shawlette may easily be made larger - please note that additional yarn will be required. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY chain, single crochet, double crochet GAUGE 4 (v-st, ch 1) and 9 rows = 4" (10 cm) in pattern, blocked.
