This afghan or blanket pattern will work out perfect no matter how many blocks you use. Make one block for a pillow front. Make 4 for a small baby blanket. Make 9 for a big play mat. Make more to make a lap afghan or a bed sized blanket. Each block measures 14" so you can decide how many you want to use. The final border will work out the same no matter how big your finished project is! YARN requirements: Worsted weight per block / for 9 blocks Color A - Sheep body, hair, tail 1 1/2 / 13 1/2 oz Color B - White background 2 / 18 oz Color C - Green background 1/2 / 4 1/2 oz Color D - Final border 4 oz for 9 blocks There are YouTube videos on joining squares and embroidering the face of your sheep.
