Basics: 30-something mom of 3. Psychology student. Knitting and crocheting to pay tuition as I work my way towards a Master's degree in counseling. I started crocheting as a kid, using my mom's leftover ugly brown yarns. (Hey - it was a hangover from the 70's when ugly browns and oranges were all the rage). I picked it up again in my early 20's when I needed something to do to distract me from exams and morning sickness. And I haven't put the hooks or needles down since. I began designing my own patterns in 2009 when my husband lost his job and I decided to put my skills to use. I started selling pieces I'd crocheted on Etsy, but felt bad that I was profiting off of other designers' hard work. So, I set my hand to designing on my own - and it was more fun and fulfilling than I thought it would be. My designs are usually inspired by sleepless nights, a little bit of coffee, and trips to the local Hobby Lobby, where I may or may not be guilty of fondling the yarn. Favorite yarns: Cotton blends, wool blends, and vibrant colors. For the latest updates on what's new and in the works, FOLLOW ME: Instagram: Pinterest:
