PATTERN DETAILS

One skein patterns are always fun but a little challenging to design. I start with the head. If the head is too big then more than one skein will be used... if it is too small then not enough of the skein will be used for me to really consider it a one skein project instead of a scrap ball project. Pepper was a fun one. I have two more patterns that were designed but just didn't fit in the Goldilocks theory - too big, too small... not just right. Pepper was just right. If you have one skein of worsted weight yarn, you can make Pepper. This pattern is a quick and easy one so if you need a quick gift, someone will be lucky to receive this! **Note - this pattern was updated on 2/21/15 for a typo. Body should read Rounds 22-26: Sc around. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY single crochet GAUGE Gauge is not critical for this project, however the tighter you crochet, the less stuffing you will see through your stitches. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 14" tall, not including bow

Recommended with this pattern

  • 6 1/2 oz of worsted weight yarn
  • 15mm black safety eyes
  • size 4mm/G crochet hook
