Whether you are looking for a quick gift or planning a dinner party, and you want to add your own personal touch, we're sure that you will agree that this crochet pattern for the Pear Accent is a great way to use up those leftover bits of luxury yarn. The crochet pattern calls for 1/3 of a skein of Knit Picks Gloss Fingering Yarn, but some alternate yarns that I have tried are Patons Lace, Patons Grace, Sirdar Flirt and Lion Brand Vanna's Glamour. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY sc - single crochet dc - double crochet fpdc - front post double crochet fpdc2tog - front post double crochet 2 together adjustable ring GAUGE 10 sc and 10 rows = 5 cm (2") square with a 3.50 mm (E) crochet hook. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Finished pear measures approximately 3.5" (9 cm) tall excluding the stem.
