This is a free pattern! Don't throw away your plastic grocery bags! Make plarn instead and create one of these great baskets or market bag, then fill one of them up with a few goodies to take to your local homeless shelter or food bank. This pattern is written in U.S. terms. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY You should already know how to ch, sl st, sc, hdc and dc. Additional stitches are defined in the instructions. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Size and gauge are dependent on the thickness of the plastic bags and the width of the strips.

I have always loved crafting! My mom and I learned to crochet together when I was 12 because there was a crocheted vest I wanted to make. We worked through it and figured it out together. I have been crocheting ever since. I started writing down patterns when making snowflakes, one of my favorite projects to make. I love working on any kind of thread crochet project such as connect as you go motifs, filet crochet, etc. My other favorite crochet projects are working on my reversible designs. I also enjoy cross stitch and knitting. Someday I hope to learn quilting and tatting.
