PATTERN DETAILS

If you(tm)re familiar with my style, you know that I love everything imperfect, asymmetrical, shredded, ripped - in one word not boring. So I came up with my variation of dropped stitch (as known in knitting) and called it a shred stitch. You will find a FULL PHOTO TUTORIAL of shred stitch added to the pattern that will help you to learn the stitch and it(tm)s increases/decreases easily. The sweater itself is surprisingly light, airy and breathy. I couldn(tm)t believe it myslef - I used just 83 grams of yarn for XS/S size. And that is for long sleeved sweater - how cool is that! The feeling when wearing it is so nice, it feels like the sweater is hugging you. NOTE - each size calls for different hook and gauge! Size XS/S Bust: 35.5 / 90 cm Hook for body and sleeves: 17 / 12.75 mm Gauge: 4/10 cm = 7 sts = 6 rows in hdc Size M Bust: 39.5 / 100 cm Hook for body: M/N / 13 / 9 mm Hook for sleeve: 17 / 12.75 mm Gauge: 4/10 cm = 8 sts = 7 rows in hdc Size L/XL Bust: 45 / 114 cm Hook for body and sleeves: 17 / 12.75 mm Gauge: 4/10 cm = 7 sts = 6 rows in hdc Size XL/2XL Bust: 47.5 / 120 cm Hook for body: M/N / 13 / 9 mm Hook for sleeve: 17 / 12.75 mm Gauge: 4/10 cm = 8 sts = 7 rows in hdc Size 3XL Bust: 54 / 137 cm Hook for body and sleeves: 17 / 12.75 mm Gauge: 4/10 cm = 7 sts = 6 rows in hdc BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Basic stitches. I'm a crochet designer running my indie pattern brand "ElevenHandmade". I love desinging edgy and hip garments and accessories for those who feel young at heart. I learned basics of croceht in school and from my granny and grannys' sister. Then - self tought. I was always interested in doing more and going beyond, that's why I tried out new stitches and patterns. At age 14 I was designing my own doilies. After some silence I picked crochet up again several years ago and never stoped since. Now not a day goes by without my crochet. I really enjoy creating my own designs. My aim is to change the perception of crochet as a craft: from tradition and handmade to individuality and style. Crochet is a great medium, it has a lot of technique to use and can look great at the same time. My aim is not to get hung up on tech stuff only, but to really make good looking, well-fitted things. I have received an award for Best New Crochet Designer of 2010 (by CLF) and won 2nd place in CGOA design competition in 2011 and 2012. I have collaborated with fashion designer Leila Shams (of New York) and created 5 crochet pieces for her fall 2012 collection that was shown on the runway of New York Fashion Week. My patterns have been published in major US crochet magazines like - Interweave Crochet and Crochet! Magazine, also Inside Crochet (UK).
