I love coffee and I love tea. Sadly, all too often, the Java Jive leaves me jittery and I end up making a mess. This oversized spill catcher is just the thing, its clever coffee color ensuring that no one will ever know about my little drinking problem. Frankly, there's nothing revolutionary about this coaster design: it's a simply written pattern in single crochet that I use in my absolute beginner crochet classes. Beginners will gain confidence in pattern reading and hook-handling, and experience success in crochet right out of the gate. Teachers: If you choose to use this pattern in your classes, please ensure that, if possible, each student downloads their own copy of the pattern. And be sure to let me know how your experience with it is!
