The "in-between" in the name comes from the fact that dc stitches are crocheted in between the posts of the previous row instead of the top loops as you normally would crochet. This method allows the row increases in the middle of the headband to blend in with the other stitches. Having the increases in the middle of the headband allows for the headband edges to be uniform with the rest of the body of the fabric and the edges of the fabric aren't so visibly loopy. I love to crochet! My mother taught me to crochet when I was a child of 6 yrs old, but I never had the passion for it until a few years ago. It was when my mother was terminally ill that I picked up the hook again. Crocheting helped me to cope with my loss, but also renewed my love for the craft. Call it an obsession or an addiction, but I enjoy it tremendously! I cannot put the hook down! I began selling my own designs in late 2010 and it was a great success. It was just difficult to believe people wanted my designs. Designing came so easy to me. I enjoy sharing my designs and I especially adore seeing others become inspired with my designs. By sharing my designs, I hope to share some of my passion with you. Should you complete a project from my patterns, please share your work! I would love to see your creations!
