I was honored to receive an invitation to be a challenger in Design Wars 6 and this vintage style houndstooth jacket was my submission. :) I've had the idea for this jacket rolling around in my head for the past 14 months, but just recently I've fallen in love with the 1960's...what perfect timing! This is such a fun, functional and stylish jacket! Perfect for any time of the year and great for dressy and casual wear. The chosen yarn for Design Wars 6 was Red Heart With Love. The jackets in these photos were made using RHWL, but my pattern testers used a variety of WW/4 yarns. Pattern Sizes Included: 12 months thru 10 years This pattern is 32 pages long and includes many tips, suggestions and photo tutorials to help with construction. The pattern is classified as an Intermediate pattern, but an advanced beginner can complete if they're comfortable with reading patterns. Would you love one for yourself? No worries, adult sizes are coming soon! :D ***Jacket design is an 'A Crocheted Simplicity' Original Design. A Crocheted Simplicity
I'm a self-taught crafter, of a variety of different crafts and mediums. My latest passion has been crocheting! Just over a year ago, we moved up to God's country where the winters can be really long. I needed something to do to pass the time and keep me warm, crocheting was just that "thing"! I found that making blankets for wedding gifts, also helped to keep me warm during the day. lol I recieved alot of positive feedback from the items I created and was urged by many friends and family to "sell my designs", so thus it began, my journey into writing crochet patterns and A Crocheted Simplicity was opened! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! :) Jennifer
