You get the instructions to make all 4 coaster designs: watermelon, strawberry, lime, and apple. Perfect for warm weather and sweaty drink cups. Whip up a stack to give away as hostess gifts at cookouts, picnics, pool parties, graduation parties, etc. These are so fun to make, and also satisfying since they whip up so quickly This pattern is made with worsted weight yarn. I used cotton yarn since its cheap and absorbent, but you can use wool or acrylic as well. I used a "G" hook, but I am a tight crochet and you may need a smaller hook to hit gauge. Pattern includes 6 full color pages of detailed instructions. YES! You can make these and sell them! I would appreciate a credit/link for the pattern (so people know where to get the pattern to make the item themselves). BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY single crochet double crochet slip stitch chain stitch GAUGE 15 sc and 19 rows per 4" swatch, done with worsted cotton. I used a "G" hook (4.5mm), however I'm a tight crocheter. You may need a size smaller hook. PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Sugar n' Cream, Bernat, or anything!

Supplies Needed

I adore knitting and crocheting. I don't understand how people can sit and watch a movie and NOT be knitting or crocheting! Such wasted opportunity. =) My mother taught me how to do both right about the time I started Kindergarten. And here I am 40 years later, designing my own patterns. Although I still do buy quite a few from fellow designers! In my spare time I enjoy (duh!) knitting and crocheting, reading my Nook, walking... spare time is limited these days with nursing classes. If only I could find a way to knit while I study...
