In my search for a Granny Hexagon to make blankets for my girls, I just couldn't find one that I really LOVED. Then I realized that there were some gorgeous crocheted flowers with six sides, and I could make a hex from one of those. So this pattern was born. I created the blanket seen in the pictures for my daughter, Vada. It has provided much warmth, love, and tons of fun blanket fort time! The little holes throughout the grannies keep blanket forts light, but still private, what more could you want?! This lovely hexagon granny blanket is easy to make with many step by step pictures accompanying the written pattern. Instructions for optional dimensional flowers within the hexagons are also included.
