PATTERN DETAILS

This hat is so easy, quick, and fun. If you can chain and double crochet, you can make Eli! Eli is simply a double crochet tube made with 2 strands of chunky weight yarn held together, and then it is gathered at the top with a chain stitch draw string. Pom poms can then be added onto the ends of the drawstrings for extra fun! You can also find a pattern for this hat made with 2 strands of worsted yarn, here in my pattern store. Make a matched set with the Ali cowl (which can also be worn on its own as a hood) or the Leo scarf. Once upon a time I was a professional costume designer/builder. Then I met a boy. You know how that goes. Now I am a Stay At Home Mom in NJ. We have twin girls who were born in July '07. The artist in me can not stay still, and we could use more income, so here I am! I love creating knit and crochet patterns, sewing (obviously!), book making, well...creating just about anything. We also have a creative hobby. In some of our free time we are Medieval Re-creationists. You can learn more about me, and see lots of fun snaps of my children and other creations on my blog, ~or~ You can keep tabs on my creations on my facebook page, both are linked below with my other crafty pages. Thanks for stopping by! Jessie
