Two potholder patterns in one. The daisy radiates sunshine and the tulip signifies Spring. Both use simple single or double crochet stitches but the shaping takes a bit of crochet experience. They are double thick to protect hands from burns. Would make great housewarming or Spring holiday gifts. The daisy is worked in rounds while the tulip is worked in rows. Make two for each and then crochet them together around the edges to make the double thickness. US crochet terminology. Crochet With Attitude
I have been crocheting since I was a teenager and started designing crochet patterns several years later. I wanted to make a sweater for my daughter and I couldn't read the crochet patterns. I later taught myself to read patterns. The first pattern I sold was a square sampler baby afghan to Crochet World and I haven't stopped designing since. I also make one-of-a-kind freeform crochet scarves and sell them in my Etsy shop, on Ebay, and at local arts and craft sales.
