PATTERN DETAILS

I needed a small gift bag for some lovely ladies who I knew appreciate hand made, so I designed this mini bag. I used it to gift chocolates (I am a chocolate friend), but as you can see, apples fit in just as well :) You could use them for party favours, Christmas baubles, apple cozies - anything really. :) You will love it making these, because they work up very quickly and are great for using up those small bits of yarn from your stash. I know you have a stash. Now you can use it for a useful purpose. I used sport weight (5ply) but you really can use anything you have. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Read a crochet pattern SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Variable depending on yarn & hook used, Pictured bags are approx 9" x 3.5"

Recommended with this pattern

Hi! I'm Shelley. Nice to see you. :) I live in a small town in country Victoria, Australia. I have made many different things for many years, but my current obsession is crochet design. I love to design crochet patterns that extend your skills, gently challenging and encouraging you to create classic, timeless crochet pieces. I get a real kick out of seeing folks create beautiful crochet items they thought were beyond their skills. If you can crochet a granny square, you can do my patterns, if you’re willing to learn and have a go. I always provide lots of support with links to videos, step by step photos and clear instructions. I love nothing more than sitting down with some yarn, a hook and a fresh page in my notebook to design a new pattern. Seamless crochet is my thing. I try my best to make the changes between rounds as invisible as possible.
