PATTERN DETAILS

I designed this bracelet pattern in a cable design using several different colors to create some added interest. The finished bracelet will have a cuff portion and braided ends to create a tie on bracelet that you can make to fit anyone. This is written out in tutorial form with photos and American Standard Crochet Terms. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Basic crochet stitches and braiding SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS The cuff portion of the finished bracelet will measure about 1 inch wide and about 6 inches long. PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Tahki Cotton Classic

Recommended with this pattern

  • You will need at least 3 colors of crochet thread, a 2.75mm hook, some clear glue or anti fray liquid, scissors and ruler. A DK weight cotton yarn is recommended which will help the bracelet keep its shape. I used Tahki Cotton Classic Yarn.

The Velvet Heart
Hi! I am a military brat who married a Kansas boy and now we are carving out a life on the prairie. I started crocheting while staying home to raise our three children. Occasionally I break out some worsted weight yarn, but for the most part, I am pretty obsessed with thread crochet, especially when it involves beads. I sell mostly crochet jewelry patterns. I draw a huge amount of influence from my love of mid century style. Everything from color palette (turquoise blue, pink and mint green!) to the types of jewelry worn then, like sweater clips and big chunky beads. My style, though, is decidedly bohemian. I hope you enjoy my designs! Find me on Facebook under The Velvet Heart :)
