Make This Unique Crochet Aruba Star Applique Pattern This Holiday! It Is A Four Pointed Star In Aruba's Flag. You Can Use Cool Applique For A Variety Of Purposes. Aruba is one of the four constituent countries that form the Kingdom of the Netherlands. 4 pointed stars are considered as esoteric symbols of hope and destiny. The colors used for this pattern is mint green for body and maize yellow for border. I didn't have the signature red and white colors available at my disposal when I made this applique in a spree! Abbreviations: US terms BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY: Basic crochet stitches Skill Level: Intermediate GAUGE: 14 dc + 8 rows = 4" (10 cm) on size G (4.5 mm) hook. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 17.25" from point to point, 9" across corners. Suggested Yarns: Lion Brand Cotton Ease.
