PATTERN DETAILS

New! Instructions to make two sizes! You get the instructions to make 58" and 40" scarves as well as a single layer version! Chihuahua's have the trade mark tall, pointy ears and big, beautiful bug-eyes and so does this scarf. The scarf is 5-1/2" X 58" long (not including the legs) At one end are long slender legs and a cute tail. At the other end are more long slender legs and the Chihuahua's face. This pattern isn't as hard as it may look. Basically you make all the pieces and then sew them together, layering them to get the look. The scarf was made using Pound of Love yarn in Lace (about 12 oz), some size 10 crochet threads in black and white, less than an oz of Petal Pink Red Heart yarn. You will also need needle to take both the yarn and crochet thread as well as a small amount of stuffing (fibefil). This is a pattern of my own design. Author holds all rights. Any item you make from one of my patterns you may sell. You can not sell or give the pattern away. Donna's Crochet Designs
My mother taught me (or tried to) to crochet when I was 12. She started me out, told me to finish the round while she checked on dinner. She was amazed to find me still crocheting when she same back. I thought the round wasn't completed until I have crochet up the entire ball of yarn. I've learned a lot since then. I love to play with colors and textures, but my all time favorite thing to do is to take something every day that hasn't been seen in crochet and then translate it into a crochet project. I've been designing seriously for over 16 years. I have my own web site Donna's Crochet Designs and have had the good fortune to work with Maggie's Crochet, Annie's Attic and DGR to name a few.
