These fingerless mitts consist of a beautiful textured stitch around the cuff and down the backside. This chevron design is very common with knitted items and now in crochet! Fingering weight or sock weight yarn works best for this pattern and the crocheted fabric is lightweight, but with lots of visible texture. Sport weight works fine too (remember to follow the instructions for a smaller size) and the fabric works up to a medium weight thickness. Either way, you will get lots of compliments on your mitts! I love to crochet! My mother taught me to crochet when I was a child of 6 yrs old, but I never had the passion for it until a few years ago. It was when my mother was terminally ill that I picked up the hook again. Crocheting helped me to cope with my loss, but also renewed my love for the craft. Call it an obsession or an addiction, but I enjoy it tremendously! I cannot put the hook down! I began selling my own designs in late 2010 and it was a great success. It was just difficult to believe people wanted my designs. Designing came so easy to me. I enjoy sharing my designs and I especially adore seeing others become inspired with my designs. By sharing my designs, I hope to share some of my passion with you. Should you complete a project from my patterns, please share your work! I would love to see your creations!
