I went looking for a fun Halloween hat, but all I could find were patterns for children, so I decided to design my own. It is made with worsted weight yarn and a large hook in only 19 rnds, so it will make up quickly. The pattern is an old-fashioned stitch - crocheted ribbing. It was popular when I was a child, but I have not seen it used lately. If you want to do so, you can also make it in the traditional Indian corn colors, white, orange and brown. I have included a picture of the hat made in a solid color, so you can make it for any occasion. Size: Adult head, one size fits all Be sure to check out the rest of the Halloween designs in my shop, as well as my other original knit, quilt, crochet, and needlepoint patterns. All of the patterns which I sell are my own design and are copyrighted. Painstaking attention has been paid to the instructions, to ensure that they are clear, accurate and easy to understand and follow. GAUGE 5 rounds = 3 inches SUGGESTED YARN 145 yards of Worsted weight

I started knitting at age 8 and learned all the rest as I went along - crocheting, sewing, tatting, latch hook, macrame, quilting, needlepoint, leather work, and woodworking. I became a professional seamstress and got into quilting big-time. These days, I mostly concentrate on knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, quilting, and woodworking. I began doing my own designing when I was laid up in a full leg cast. Since then, I have created over 200 of my own designs in various mediums, the patterns for which I sell everywhere and anywhere. I decided to sell my patterns individually, since I hate to have to buy an entire book to get the one or two that I want. I do sell some hand-made items from my own designs, including woodworking items made by myself, at:
