Halloween is probably my favorite holiday - at least for designing stuffed toys. It's just fun and being my website's motto is "Not Always Cute and Cuddly" you know I just love Halloween! When I was designing these guys - which are also available separately - I kept hearing Sesame Street's Count singing the Batty Bat song. No, I don't normally hear voices but I did occasionally have to break out and sing a bar or two.... The Batty Bats are easy to make and are a great, larger size for playing with. My youngest had them "fly out" over his Realistic Bona Fide Skeleton while a battle was going on. I suppose he was pretending that they were battling it out in a cave.... This original CraftyDeb crochet amigurumi pattern is designed by Deb Richey. All CraftyDeb patterns are for personal use only and not for resale or selling finished items online. They can be made for in person craft shows and fairs. Your Craftsy purchase will also be made available for download on my main website at GAUGE There is no gauge given however the tighter your stitches, the less stuffing will show through. If you can see air between your stitches, use a smaller hook. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 9 1/2" tall with a 23" wingspan and Batty Bat is 6" tall with a 15" wingspan - when made with worsted weight yarn
