PATTERN DETAILS

I have loved crochet since I first smuggled my parents Mon Tricot book from their craft cabinet. Back then, crochet patterns were often written in long exhaustive paragraphs in which I was easily lost. But while I've made a bit of a living writing knitting patterns, my love for crochet hasn't changed. I have been dreaming of writing up a crochet shawl pattern for years and wanted to write it in a way that made it easy to follow regardless of your preferred pattern style. Both motifs used in the pattern, are fully charted on page 3. On the following pages, you'll find row by row instructions along with a highlighted view of where you are in the chart. Having trouble making sense of the full chart? The written out instructions will walk you stitch by stitch through each symbol. Lost your place in the written instructions? The adjacent chart shows you only the rows you have worked so you can clearly see what's happening.
