In retesting the A Bag Divided pattern, my four year old daughter wanted me to make her a bag, too. Of course, at 4 years old, she has her own ideas of what things should be like. And, she's very big into rainbows and unicorns and princesses and ponies. So, she asked for a bag that looked like a rainbow, and there had to be clouds. So, A Bag Divided - Mini was born. And, hers definitely looks like a rainbow in the clouds. :) But, she loves it, and she carries it EVERYWHERE...around the house, to the store, to the park. She carries a little bottle of water and a snack in one pocket and fills the other two pockets with little trinkets and toys. This bag would be perfect for the little girls wanting to be like mom, or your pre-teen or teen. Like the original A Bag Divided, the Mini has 3 compartments to keep your things neat and organized. Make the shoulder strap longer, and it is the perfect size for a little cross-body bag to take with you on your weekend errands. Or, have fun playing with color and make the mini for your mini-me and a matching full size for you! I'm married to Daniel and the beauty in the profile photo is my daughter, Emilee. I love all things crafty. I've been crocheting since I was 9, and have just really started doing something with it in the last year or so. A little over a year ago, I taught myself to sew just for kicks, too. :) Facebook: Website: Ravelry: Blog:
