Share a little about the ingredients and techniques used to create this dish/item. Fondarific fondant and gumpaste were used to shape the sock monkey. I used a clay extruder and a ribbon cutter to cut stripes and some of the details and border. The "1" is made of gumpaste only so it would harden. I thought it would be easier for the birthday boy to eat buttercream icing instead of fondant so the small cake is buttercream with fondant decorations.
