What are you most proud of? The taste of this bread was phenomenal!!! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't forget the pre-shaping 5 minute rest before shaping and panning step.... I was so excited about shaping these batards I forgot that step.... I might have gotten better irregular holes if I had done that! I also can do better with the slashing - I need to make them a bit deeper - I didn't get the oven spring I was hoping for! Be sure to watch Peter's face as he takes his creations out of the oven. That says it all!
