Share a little about the ingredients and techniques used to create this dish/item. I used Peter's Italian dough and forming techniques to create two pizzas. One was pepperoni and cheese and the other was cheese with white onion and black olives. Both of these were baked in a Blackstone gas fired pizza oven at about 475 degrees. This pizza oven is portable, affordable, the size of a gas grill, and cooks like a brick oven. What are you most proud of? I finally got pizza dough RIGHT! I learned a lot about dough handling in these lessons so that I could make a thinner crust. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I have always used corn meal on the pizza peel but it burns in this new oven so I will try just flouring the peel next time. I like a lot of pepperoni on my pizza. Try microwaving the pepperoni like you would bacon between paper towels first (just 15 to 30 seconds or so) and then top your pizza. This will get rid of a lot of fat.
