Share a little about the ingredients and techniques used to create this dish/item. This recipe comes from the Bernardin Guide to Home Preserving in 1995 (Canada's brand of Ball products). I have used it quite a lot and am always pleased. The recipe is currently on their website at http://www.bernardin.ca/pages/recipe_page/51.php?pid=506 The description from the Bernardin book says: This chutney tastes similar to store-bought mixtures sold under the Major Grey Label. Its flavour and ingredients are reminiscent of the condiments English colonists learned to love during their time in India and the Middle East.
